'Popsy hasn't changed a bit.'
I thought to myself as my eyes lingered over the massive barrel of vinegar standing across the class. The more I stared at him, the worse I was feeling. It wasn't for him though. I was feeling bad for the man who had accompanied me to the class. Aden.
The poor guy had no idea how much trouble he had brought over on his own self just from his single remark. It would have been better if he would have just waited outside. Things wouldn't unfold the way they were about to if he would have chosen to get inside the class quietly. But the man chose to ask me to wait for him.
"Why are you late, boy?" Popsy muttered once again, finally getting up from his place. His feet began to move after he was done fixing the first button of his coat. With a slow pace, he walked towards us while Aden continued to stare back at him.
