The third prince found what the man said to be a little odd, but he didn't think too much about it.

Before he could finish the sentence, he gasped his life away. His body, soft as if boneless, collapsed to the ground.

The soldier kicked the prince's body to make sure he was dead. He then sent his men to toss the body into a well in the backyard.

As long as the body was swollen enough from being immersed in the water, it would be difficult to determine the time of death.
