Bab 53: General Longstaff's Lectures PT 1

Rhys and his companions woke up feeling extra refreshed and energized. 

Basil and Han were awake and were silently cultivating on a mat. The others were however fast asleep.

[ Get down on one of the mats and start cultivating too] Alvin spoke out. 

" Uhhh...I just woke up" Rhys yawned stretching himself.

[ It is okay. Go on. you should have a lot to do in order to prepare yourself. You need to be insanely strong] Alvin said encouragingly.

Rhys shrugged. 

He slowly crawled down onto the mat and got into his meditation position.

Rhys closed his eyes and immediately felt a calmness come over him, a sense of being grounded and centered. He opened his eyes once again.

Alvin watched carefully as Rhys began to concentrate.

A few minutes passed and then Rhys suddenly shot forward, his eyes widening in alarm and fear. As he jumped out of his sitting position.

His breathing was erratic and his muscles twitched uncontrollably.
