Bab 24: FRIENDSHIP

The group settled in their respective tents for the night, finding comfort and respite after a long day's journey. In one tent, the Doka relatives, Han, Richard, Dira and Anthony laid down their weary bodies, while Basil and Rhys occupied another.

As they sat around a small fire, enjoying the remnants of their meal, Rhys turned to Basil with a thoughtful expression. Taking a bite from his meat, he mustered the courage to delve into a personal conversation.

"Basil," Rhys began, chewing slowly. "Can I get to know you more? I feel like there's so much beneath the surface."

Basil, caught off guard by the sudden curiosity, paused for a moment before responding. "Uhmm... Yeah. My name is Basil Bexley," he answered, his voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty.

Rhys nodded, his gaze fixed on Basil. "Okay. Where are you from?"

Basil hesitated for a moment, his eyes wandering into the distant horizon. "Far. I'm not from this continent."
