Bab 79: What Magic Is that? (Part 1)

"Are you trying to provoke the dwarf?" Thurin glared at the half-elf, "If your brain was working properly, maybe you could tell me how to get out of this damn place."

"Well, we still have a chance..." Ilodyer looked at the dwarf, "Because these carnivorous plants don't seem to match your chopping speed. If you could be fast enough, we still have a chance to escape. Look, are you putting in enough effort?"

"Effort in what?" The dwarf asked blankly.

"Effort in getting us out before the carnivorous plants bury us in their bodies," the half-elf said seriously "Carve out an exit."

"God knows how big this forest area is," Thurin resumed chopping at the tendrils of the carnivorous plants.

These plants crisscrossed, and upon closer inspection, one could see several types of plants mixed together.
