A wisp of greed had surged out of those gray eyes that had looked down at him in condensation, the memory was one that Zane would forever treasure but he knew that the Old master, his grandfather, would not take the essence from Xavier.

The dragon essence was most beneficial to someone who has not awakened, if the bloodline purity could reach up to 99% then the probability of awakening a bloodline class or at least getting an insane bloodline skill was 100%.

Xavier's bloodline was already above 90% but Zane had not anticipated the quarrel that the Dragon Essence would cause, in the end, Xavier had to give the Essence to the family to determine who it would go to.
