Bab 209: A gift

The view of the group going up the stairs was interesting because they seemed to be in sync with each other.

No one dared to hinder their ascent, nor did they hinder the others.

The group's eyes were looking only one way, upwards. They ignored everyone else and focused on climbing.

The cultivators around them were like air.

This made many of them angry.

As young men from noble families, they were arrogant, but being treated as if they were air made them very angry.

Unfortunately, none of them dared to do anything because their cultivation was high, much higher than everyone else on the lower stairs.

Each of them was between levels 3-5 of the third stage of cultivation. That was much higher than nearly ninety percent of the young people in the place.

So it wasn't good to mess with them and get in trouble.

Also, the group was suspected of being members of the Messengers of Power, so they had to be careful to avoid disaster.
