Bab 31: Chapter 31: Hidden

It’s about a week later when we finally hear back from Eurus and Zephyr. Upon arriving back at the city, Dominik and I sent a letter to them, to be carried by pigeon as swiftly as possible. During the wait, we continued our stay at the tavern, me working during the day, and Dominik keeping himself busy around town.

I pick up the letter from the letter carrier, hurriedly returning to our temporary home to read it aloud to Dominik. It is a stiff thank you from Eurus, and a long-winded personal lament from Zephyr. He mentions planning a visit to the city to see us, and I wonder if I should warn him against it.

Around the city, things have become more uncomfortable. Whenever I leave the tavern, I hear mentions of dragons and shifters. One day, I even overhear talk of the human king issuing a statement on the matter. I relay the information to Kamora and Dominik.
