Bab 231: Impure Thought

Ma Hao Dong has been sitting in the living room accompanying his wife to watch some costume drama about palace intrigue. His eyes were on the television, but his focus was somewhere else.

Once every few seconds, Ma Hao Dong would turn to look at the door as he waited for his granddaughter to come in. The clock ticked, but Su Ruan has not returned and he was getting worried.

"Alright, stop worrying too much," His wife, Lan Shi spoke. "Your granddaughter is already here."

Ma Hao Dong frowned. "How do you know?"

"My ears are sharp. I can hear the sound of the engine a while ago."

Just as she finished her words, the door was pushed open and Su Ruan walked into the house. Her movement halted as she saw her grandparents were in the living room.

Suddenly, Su Ruan did not know what she should do next.

"Su Ruan, you're back." Lan Shi smiled.
