Bab 75: Leaving The Dark Se

The mermaid stretched its arms up. Maximillian crouched down and stretched his hand down. The mermaid quickly jumped up and kissed his outstretched hand.

Maximilian nodded in agreement, allowing the mermaid to speak.

(What do you want?) he asked using the mermaid language.

(Lord Dragon, please don't kill me. I came here to return something.)

(To whom?)

(The Princess)

(To the Princess? Why didn't you just give it to her earlier when she was talking to me?)

(Not that princess. The other princess.)

Maximillian frowned.

(What do you mean? There is no other royal princess on this ship anymore-) Maximillian halted.

(The Princess who was attacked by sirens a few days ago)

Maximilian stood back up and glared at the mermaid. The mermaid looked terrified and quickly hid its body in the water. Only half its head was exposed above the surface of the water.
