Luz feels as if a force coming from her navel is trying to connect with her neurons. It makes her recoil from a dizziness that almost makes her lose her balance. What's more, she hears strange noises inside her head, sounds she has never heard before and they are as pleasant as her father's belching after lunch... and what a day and what an excuse...
"I get gassy from food... I have the mouth of a little bird; someone has to do justice to the birds even if I sound rude."
Of course he has, not the mouth, but the teeth of a bird, so he doesn't even have half a tooth to offer to the most capricious tooth fairy that could exist.
Confused?
Let me explain the mechanics of the game because that is exactly what the little voice inside Luz's head is doing. It should be clarified that not because she likes it; but because the genie makes her do it.
Anyway, the fact is that Luz has gone back a couple of years ago, when she was fourteen years old. She recognizes this time because her mother looks at her father as if she wanted to annihilate him.
They are all sitting in the dining room for lunch. Well, the father is standing because he has just finished his wheat soup; but he no longer has time to wait for lunch for his possible new customer.
"You're taking too long, you'd better take him to work because I'm winning him over with my belly."
"How are you so sure?"
Luz asks him obliged by the little voice; so he can continue with the theme of the game story.
"Those who create wet money need something to squeeze it out of. If you record yourself and understand this advice well you will be the queen of fools."
Her father chuckles as he retreats to the bedroom to finish preening for his work appointment.
His mother is so worried that the food will be ready on time and her husband won't have to scold her that she hasn't noticed that her son has made an avocado mask and rubbed it all over his face.
Although Bastiàn (in Luz's world his brother is not Esteban) feels that he is getting younger; he is also attentive to the exact moment when Flavia appears because she always takes him by surprise and ruins his male beauty session in any way.
And speaking of male beauty, I'll tell you that Lucifer is acting very strange.
Have you noticed that from chapter 33 onwards you haven't seen the word chapter anywhere?
The word chapter protects us from how harmful the virtual world is to supernatural beings.
Note that not all supernatural beings look as "supernatural" as you imagine. In fact, some of them do not even possess powers; if we are called supernatural it is because nature is the base that sustains our way of life. I know it may sound a bit confusing as the family of our protagonist and even herself; but everything will be revealed in due time because I would not support you to take a bad memory (especially if you give bad references about my narration) of the attitude of my species in the face of adversity.
What I am getting at is that it is strange that Lucifer lets the demon not write with his flames the word chapter and if he does not write I do not read.
DEMONS ARE MASOCHISTS
LUCIFER IS NOT
NOT IN THE SAME WAY AS THE OTHERS
Here there is a cat in the bag... Lucifer wants to be exposed to harm?
I thought Lucifer let him not write the word chapter for three days as a trick to recharge his death triangle.
This given that when he evades the virtual world his own fire shares the living soul that was once his home with every being he has enslaved; that is, his power is divided into tiny portions. It is up to each slave to see what he can do to grow the pygmy portion of hope granted him by the universe.
As they say, "The best things come in small packages."
However, the job of figuring out how to grow the piece I get to visualize, so to speak, what the advantage is that the universe has given me, is made much easier if the word chapter does not cause Lucifer to evade the virtual world for four days (not necessarily consecutive).
While letting the virtual world damage you for three days does not sound like a good idea, it is more that you can gain than it puts you at risk.
In three days without the word chapter, several pieces of the soul that housed it may be distributed at some point; but the fire will destroy the triple of the soul that welcomed him and keeps "his Achilles heel". If he manages to eliminate himself, his greatest weakness will be totally invincible ... totally.
However, if you evade the virtual world for more than three days, the scattered pieces will be able to carry with them a region (of the soul that housed Lucifer) that has an affinity with them.
It is well known that the cognate regions of a divided soul; if they are reunited into a single whole, they would rebuild a soul of unique goodness.
Do you realize why I'm so upset?
This may be my great opportunity to be free from all the lunatic characters and a demon in love that has made me smell like a wet dog.
I'VE HAD ENOUGH.
It's like a politician asking to be stripped of his parliamentary immunity. I have an idea of what could have happened, but for three days I could... just for three days put a pause to this game.
