"Heyyyy look who's back~" Huojin teased as he saw Jia coming into the bureau. "You look all upbeat now."

Though Jia was still using the crutch's support, her knee was very close to recovery now. It wasn't as painful to walk as before.

"Don't make me beat you up so badly that you would need a vacation now," she smiled with a hint of warning.

"Yes, you haven't lost your fiery touch. Glad to see you doing well," he chuckled.

She rolled her eyes. "How were things here?"

"Same old, same old. I am catching up with Wen Luoyang to check if he got any updates on that tattoo artist."

She nodded.

The emergency line hit red and Jia took that as a sign of incoming work. "Guess my work really missed me."
