On the other side at Quantum Games, Xun Chunlei, one of the managers, welcomed Zexi into the company.

"Oh, I see that you have already met up with Li Beiye. That's good. I am Xun Chunlei. You will be working under me. It is a pleasure to have you on board," he flashed a smile.

Oh wow, for a manager's post, he is quite young, Zexi thought.

"Thank you, Sir!" She bowed. "I will do my best!"

"That's the spirit. Now since Li Beiye is already aware of the work, she will teach you about the tasks and some of our daily norms here. Somebody from IT will soon give you your laptop, after which you will have to complete some formalities. Until then, you can look around the office and your desk and meet your colleagues. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to approach me."

Li Beiye took her to the workzone area where dozens of cubicles were filled with employees, rapidly typing on their laptops. Some of them almost looked like zombies.
