Bab 195: Sorry for not being around

The moment his words dropped, a small card appeared between Ryle's index finger and middle finger. 

The people who were far away could not see what it was but the officers who were standing up so close had gotten a clear look of the matte black card that had the faint outlines of a silver star on top of it. 

The faces of the higher ranked officers turned pale completely when they saw the card that Ryle was holding but the lower-ranked ones were clueless about it. 

''Who are you? How dare you threaten the police...'' 

Someone had just taken a step forward when his superior gave him a death glare, ''It's a family insignia,'' he spoke through gritted teeth when he saw that many others in his group were equally restless as if they wanted to go out and confront Ryle right away. 

Hearing the words of their superior, the members of the police team who initially wanted to rush out held themselves back.
