Bab 243: Reconsider your choices?

Daisy looked at the girl. When she had first met her back in LA, Ivy was living with Diana, younger than them all, somewhere in her early 20s. Now the girl was in her mid 20s. She looked the same but in some way, it seems like she had matured even more than she already had. 

Previously her thoughts were readable but now, it was hard to decipher what she thought or what she felt. For instance, right now, she seemed like a happy and innocent young woman who was free of worries. 

But if the mature conversation she held with Daisy was anything to go by, then this was a contradiction. 

Ivy would say that she was like this because she was simple-minded. And people would buy that. 

But Daisy did not believe that such contradictions in someone's personality appeared out of thin air. There is always cause and consequence.
