"Vin!" Fil called, smiling from ear to ear. "What are you doing here?"

"Huh?" Vincent scoffed, studying the smile that appeared on her face. "What am I doing here? I'm here because you stood me up. We were supposed to have dinner together. Who is that guy?"

Deep lines appeared between her brows. "Who?"

"That guy, Fil. Who is he?" He stepped closer. "The reason you stood me up. Who is that guy?"

"Vincent. He's our client." Fil frowned deeply. "Are you accusing me of cheating?"

Vincent's breath hitched, and his neck turned a little taut. He studied her face and was taken aback at how she looked so mesmerizing up close. She was pretty — very pretty. Even when she was frowning, it could melt a man's heart.
