Bab 213: Retiring

Fil gazed down on her phone, slowing down her steps on her way to her apartment. 

"Vincent?" she muttered, but then answered the call. "Hello?"

"Oh, god, Fil!" 

"Vincent, what's wrong?"

"I heard you didn't go to the site because of a road accident. Are you okay?" His voice revealed his panic and genuine concern.

Fil smacked her lips, not surprised Vincent heard about it. After all, the raw materials they were going to see today were delivered by Hale Construction. 

"I'm fine, Vin," she reassured. "Thanks for checking up on me, but the accident isn't that big. It's just that someone suddenly shows up in front of the car and we hit him."

"Oh, is the person okay?"

"Fortunately." She shrugged. "We rescheduled for tomorrow, so you don't have to worry."

At this point, Fil reached her apartment and put her keys in.
