Bab 277: Fulfilling the wish of a dying man

"Why are you letting her and not us!?"

"What nonsense is this?!"

"What does Grandpa want from her!?"

The Hale Family's hysterical voices rang behind Fil even when the door was closed. 

She looked up and saw Raul smiling weakly at her. 

"Apologies for that, Miss Fil," said Raul apologetically. 

"It's alright. I know it's what the chairman wants," Fil offered him a reassuring smile, earning a sigh of relief from Raul. "Where is he?"

"He's there, Miss Fil. Please." Raul motioned his hand in a direction and lowered his head. 

Fil sported a short smile before walking in. She quickly glimpsed at the bed where Felix was lying near the window and she immediately felt this tightness in her chest.

"Chairman," she called soothingly as she approached, sitting down on the chair beside the bed.
