"She's my wife. Can you kill her?"

Wife?

Marcus let out a ridiculing scoff, running his tongue across his inner cheek. Was this person one of Fil's admirers?

After Fil started taking care of herself and changed her wardrobe, Marcus met countless men who admired Fil. For one, many bachelors during Felix Hale's birthday celebration had shown deep interest in her. 

But then, the stranger told him to kill her.

Marcus squinted. "Are you a crazy stalker?" he mocked. "Do you think killing is a joke? Whoever you are, I'm impressed with how you got in here. But considering I'm not here most of the time, the security had quite lax."

"Look." His voice changed, looking at Quentin with a serious face. "I will not press charges if you get out of my property. I understand you like Fil, but we're not dating anymore."
