Bab 716: Last Revenge Before Leaving

The next day, Nathaniel spent time at his residence, instructing his butler on packing the important items that belonged to him. He planned to leave his father's estate the following day, but not before taking one last small revenge that night.

In the late afternoon, the butler approached him. "My Lord, everything has been prepared as per your instructions," he reported. "Also, a few of your trusted servants, along with myself, will accompany you."

Nathaniel gave a quiet hum of acknowledgment.

The butler continued without waiting for further questions. "My Lord, a separate carriage has been arranged to carry your mother's memorial slab and ashes. We will retrieve it whenever you give the order. Additionally, the young mistress is scheduled to be sent to your father tonight."

A light smirk crossed Nathaniel's lips as he hummed again. "The last present for my father before I leave."

The butler, understanding his master's meaning, remained silent.
