Bab 222: Chapter 222:- The Price of Freedom

A duo of father and daughter were walking inside the Auction house when they were stopped by the guards. 

"My apologies for stopping you. But I cannot let you both go inside without showing me your invitation letter." The two guards at the entrance were really polite. 

Both guards had been strictly told to ask the guests to show their invitation letter otherwise the guests won't be allowed to enter. 

However, this put the guards in a very difficult situation. As doing this might offend some of the powerful guests. And this might end up in them losing their lives. 

Even if the guests were to kill the guards, their master wouldn't care much since they were nothing but a bunch of lowly guards that easily could be replaced. In order not to offend any important guest and accidentally Get themselves killed the guards were being very polite. Because if they messed with the wrong guest, this might cost them their lives.
