Elijah held onto hatred like The Beast held onto the rose in his lonely castle, like Ariel clung to her human items in the dark cave beneath the ocean. It was all he had for years. Now he had to train himself to let it go when around her and it nearly killed him, literally.

Alissa was about find out who she really was and it wouldn't be easy trying to control herself. Especially when she finally began to really feel the emotions of her past. Could she find a way to live with the man who she felt betrayed her?
