He stands up and walks to a more open area of the cliff. He takes a deep breath as he pulls out his hammer. His eyes meet mine as he turns serious.

"After this, I would like to know who you are." He holds up his hammer to the sky as he gets done speaking. Thrall closes his eyes and begins to focus.

I watch as elemental spirits dance around him happily, he is obviously favored. The wind picks up and begins to spin around him. Water droplets fall from the sky stopping in his small tornado. Pebbles and small rocks rise from the ground as they begin to rotate around him as well.

Fire bursts to life forming a vortex around him seemingly in harmony with the water, earth, and air. His eyes burst open as he forces down his hammer as if pulling an enormous weight. The clouds hanging in the dark sky above burst to life as a massive bolt of lightning strikes where his hammer lands.

He releases his breath as he stands back straight up. "That is channeling the elements as a shaman."

I nod "I have to thank you for that display. That magic may become useful in the future… I'm not sure if I will be able to proficiently use it since I am not as loved by the spirits as you… but the decay… I can do it."

He looks confused but I raise my hand into the air. I try to manipulate the elements as he did but very few of them listen to my call. The only elements that heed my call are fire and earth. I suppose because they are closer to decay.

With a great shift of mana, I bring my hand down towards a mountain peak off in the distance. Seemingly from nowhere, a massive flaming rock breaks through the clouds heading towards the mountain.

The meteor streaks across the sky slamming into the mountain peak in a burst of molten rock. Lava rushes down the mountain but quickly hardens as I stop supplying the spirits with mana.

I turn to see the orc slack-jawed at the display of power he turns to me defensively. "Who are you?"

I smile "I suppose I should have waited for Lor'Themar to wake up before I met you. But then again we wouldn't have this wonderful one on one." Seeing he isn't going to go without an answer I roll my eyes.

"Since it's formal introductions you want I will oblige. I am Lorian, The Undead God of Pestilence. Although today I got the moniker of 'The Dead God' and I very much like it so call me as you wish." I shrug as I finish my words.

His eyes narrow "A God? Why are you here?"

I shrug again "Not a big reason, Lor'Themar wanted to speak with you and I happened to be with him."

My words seem to confuse him further "The next council is not for another 20 days. Why is Lor'Themar here?"

"He wanted to talk to you about the Lich King being awake. Although I don't see why he cares so much, I already said I would kill him." I state matter-of-factly.

He looks taken aback "Then we must prepare! He will not sit quietly now that he is awake."

Wave him off "Enough of that let's continue our earlier conversation... What do you think the elemental spirits are?"

He looks confused at my question "They are spirits of course. They are beings that lend their power to those they see fit."

I tilt my head "Correct. But you are also wrong. Elemental spirits are not just spirits they are the culmination of chaos and life. They are the eventual fusion of spirit and decay. Two opposing powers. To deny the decay and chaos is to deny the nature of the elements themselves."

"When I saw you use the elements I couldn't feel any delay whatsoever. It was far too controlled for such primal magics." I speak only about what I could understand by watching him.

His eyes narrow "So I've been limiting myself by the way I understand the spirits? The way I use them?"

"That's only what I understand, take your time, and listen to the elements themselves. Ma-" My words are cut off as I turn to face a massive emergence of magical power and death.

The orc looks at me confused "What?"

My eyes narrow as I look at an area on the horizon "Perhaps I was wrong. You should ready your army…"

The orc looks even more confused "What has happened."

I smile a bit as I turn to him "An army of the undead has shown up. A building the size of a city is now floating about 18 miles that way." I point to the southwest past the mountain I disfigured.

"What? How is that possible." He says stepping closer to the cliff looking into the dark horizon.

"I don't know actually. But I can feel it. The undead have begun their assault, I can feel the death. What's in that direction?" I ask him.

He grits his teeth "The crossroads. An important trade town. The midway point between the Barrens and Thousand Needles."

"I see, so they are trying to starve you first. The Lich King must have planned this. Tell me when you leave, I will join you." I speak louder seeing the orc is starting to walk away.

"I thank you then." He speaks without turning back.

I decide to follow him since I have nothing better to do. He walks fast through the narrow streets until it finally opens up showing a massive building completely made of stone. Once we enter we can see a large orc in bulky plate armor standing over a small war table.

He looks troubled as he looks at the map. "Varok," Thrall speaks as we get closer to him.

The large orc turns quickly and lowers his head a bit "Warchief."

"Prepare the men, we march to war," Thrall says in a distant tone as he leans on the war table.

Varok looks confused "Against who?" He says with great concern.

"The scourge." He says as he stabs a knife into the crossroads on the map.

Varok's face falls as he looks at the map. Without another word, he walks out of the room.

Thrall walks up to the large throne-like chair in the center of the room and plops down.

"I apologize for dragging you along." He says as he tiredly rubs his head.

I smile "It's perfectly fine. I am just a wanderer after all."

He gives a small chuckle "Of course."
