After Easter, it was said that the final exams would come quickly, and that was indeed true.

At Hogwarts, the exams took place in mid-June, with little difference in timing between the different years. Of course, the written exams were staggered and supervised by the professors.

The weather in June was hot and humid, and it was even more uncomfortable to be cramped in the classrooms during exams.

The written exams started at half-past nine in the morning, beginning with Charms. Students took their designated seats, and it's worth mentioning that Professor McGonagall was the invigilator.

Everyone seemed nervous, but Albert didn't pay much attention. He found it rather intriguing as the exams at Hogwarts reminded him of the university exams in his past life.

On the desks were the new quills, ink bottles, and parchment provided by Hogwarts specifically for the exams. It was said that the quills, ink, and parchment were enchanted to prevent cheating, but Albert didn't think the anti-cheating spells were that effective.

As the biggest cheater among the examinees, these things were definitely useless against him.

Once everyone was seated and settled, Professor McGonagall announced the start of the exam. She then flipped over a giant hourglass and placed it beside her.

The moment Albert opened his exam paper, he noticed a new task on his dashboard:

In the Name of Genius

You are recognized as a genius among the new students of this year. As a genius, you should achieve grades that match your talent and prove your abilities by obtaining excellent results in all exams. Show everyone that exams are nothing to a genius.

Reward: 1400 experience points.

Albert couldn't help but roll his eyes. His gaze fell on Katrina, who was sitting in the third column, fourth seat to his right. She had already started writing her answers after reading the questions.

He looked down at the first question on the exam paper:

a) Write a spell that can make objects fly.

b) Describe the wand movement required.

"Hmm, it's even simpler than I expected."

Half an hour later, Albert had written all his answers on the parchment and spent another five minutes checking for any mistakes. Satisfied that there were none, he rested his head on the desk and fell asleep.

Well, what else could he do? The exam lasted a whole two hours.

However, the Slytherin student sitting behind Albert was taken aback when he noticed that the guy in front of him had actually fallen asleep during the exam.

Everyone in Slytherin knew a thing or two about Albert Anderson. He was rumored to be a genius, excelling in academics and Quidditch. He caught the Snitch in a match against Slytherin, making countless Slytherin students grind their teeth in frustration. It was said that many had wanted to challenge Anderson but ended up being defeated. He had also caused quite a stir recently.

Nobody believed that he couldn't answer the exam paper. The only explanation was that he had already finished.

Already finished with the exam?

Was it really that easy this time?

The Slytherin student looked at his own exam paper, then glanced at the person sleeping in front of him, starting to suspect that their exam papers were different.

Feeling someone approaching from behind, Albert lifted his head and saw Professor McGonagall with an unfriendly expression.

Albert picked up the parchment, turned it over, and pointed at it to indicate that he had finished.

Professor McGonagall glanced at the exam paper, silently placed it back on the desk, and didn't say anything more, letting Albert continue to sleep.

As for submitting the exam paper early?

That would disrupt the other students' exams, so unless there were special circumstances, it was impossible.

"You slept for over an hour? Are we using different exam papers?" Fred and George each hooked an arm around Albert's neck and complained after the exam.

"Here, the exam paper," Albert handed over the exam paper he had finished to George. "It felt pretty easy."

"Easy?" Lee Jordan said weakly.

"As long as you listened attentively in class, took notes, and reviewed them several times afterward, you would definitely achieve excellent results," Albert said with an expression that clearly meant it was because they hadn't reviewed seriously.

"Shut up, don't mention this again." The three of them simultaneously covered Albert's mouth with their hands to prevent him from saying anything that would hit them.

In the afternoon, there was a practical exam for Charms. Professor Flitwick called them into the classroom one by one in alphabetical order, so Albert was the first. The exam involved casting a spell on a pineapple and performing a tap dance on a desk.

In reality, it tested both the dance charm and control over the incantation. Of course, this didn't pose any difficulty for Albert, and he breezed through it.

The Transfiguration exam was the next day, and the written part was equally uncomplicated. After seeing Albert effortlessly transform a rat into an exquisite silver snuffbox with the Hogwarts crest, Professor McGonagall didn't inquire further about him sleeping during the exams.

The more exquisite the box, the higher the score. Albert's creation was a work of art and received a perfect score, although the so-called perfect score only meant excellent.

The exam that Albert found particularly interesting was the practical exam for Potions.

The task was to brew a Memory Erasing Potion within two hours.

It wasn't particularly difficult, considering they had only covered a few potions throughout the year. However... having Severus Snape standing behind you, closely observing your every move, made it challenging.

Whenever Snape appeared behind a student without warning, he would add a negative buff that caused the student's heart to race, their hands and feet to tremble, and sometimes led to mistakes during the process.

...

The final exam was the History of Magic, a rather boring subject. Albert had reviewed what he considered to be the key points before the exam, and he had no surprises in answering the questions. He passed the exam smoothly.

When Professor Binns called for them to put down their quills and roll up their parchment, the classroom erupted in cheers.

The exams were finally over, and they were free to relax and enjoy themselves for a whole week until the exam results were announced.

"Let's go, I'll treat you to some butterbeer to celebrate," Albert called out to his roommates before Katrina could come over.

"Are we going to the Hog's Head?" whispered Lee Jordan.

"No need, I've already sent an owl order," Albert replied.

"Owl order? You mean that one?" Fred pointed to a owl flying towards them, carrying a package that it dropped in front of Albert.

"What's this?" Fred picked it up, puzzled. He pulled out the card on top and handed it to Albert.

"It must be a book," George said confidently.

"Why?"

"Whenever a package looks like this, it usually contains a book."

"Can we open it?" Fred looked at Albert.

"Go ahead." Albert glanced at the card and confirmed that George was right. The book was called "Comprehensive Guide to Basic Magical Texts" and was sent by Mr. McGonagall. It was said to have been recently published.

After the end of the final exams, everyone enjoyed the leisurely time on the campus before the summer break.

Slytherin ultimately defeated Hufflepuff, but they remained without the Quidditch Cup, even with a dominating victory. It was all because Slytherin lost to Gryffindor. This caused most Slytherin students to seethe with anger.

What's worse, not only were they at risk of losing the Quidditch Cup, they might also lose the House Cup.

Currently, Gryffindor was still leading Slytherin by a slight margin of fifteen points, and there were only a few days left until the end-of-year feast.

Albert didn't pay much attention to these matters. He was sitting under a tree by the lake, reading a book. Not far from him, the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan were using twigs to poke at a giant squid basking in the warm shallow water.

During this period before the holidays, the four of them often came here to pass the time and occasionally discussed how to get back at Flich and the others who wanted to give them trouble.

"What's up?" Albert closed the "Comprehensive Guide to Basic Magical Texts" and looked up at Katrina, who had appeared in front of him.

"I'm ready," Katrina glanced at the book in Albert's hands and asked, puzzled, "Why don't you go to Ravenclaw?"

"Why should I? I have friends here, and things are going pretty well," Albert nodded towards the three by the lake. "At least better than you."

"I have friends too." Katrina understood the implication behind Albert's words and stared at him resentfully, as if he had suggested she had no friends.

"Shall we go to Ravenclaw Tower now?" Albert changed the topic and was about to stand up when he noticed four Slytherin students approaching from a distance. When their gazes met, Albert knew that those four had ill intentions.

Katrina noticed the momentary change in Albert's expression and turned her head to look at the four older Slytherin students walking towards them. She furrowed her brow and said, "Looks like you've got trouble."

"Trouble? I haven't seen any trouble," Albert said calmly.

As they spoke, the four Slytherin students had already arrived in front of them.

"Look who we've run into, the famous Albert Anderson," one of the Slytherin students smirked maliciously.

"If I were you, I wouldn't pick a fight at this moment," Albert pointed behind them.

"What trick do you think you're playing? Do you take us for fools?" someone sneered, staring at Albert.

"Maybe we should go along with him," another person clenched their fist, ready for a fight.

"That would only make you look more foolish," someone had already drawn their wand.

"I've had training, and I can handle you guys even without a wand," Albert signaled for Katrina to stay aside. "Besides, I'm not alone."

"Are you really planning to bully a new student in front of Professor Babbling?" Katrina furrowed her brow, suddenly feeling that these four were quite stupid.

No, it should be said that Albert was deliberately using his words to provoke them. He wanted these four guys to make a move, so that Professor Babbling could coincidentally witness four older Slytherin students bullying a new Gryffindor student.

What would the outcome be?

Katrina didn't need to think to guess.

George and the other two by the lake also noticed the change and had already drawn their wands, prepared to come and help in the fight.

However, the three of them slowed their pace, hiding their wands behind their backs, prepared to watch a good show.

The four Slytherin students obviously didn't believe Albert's low-level nonsense. They probably thought Albert was trying to distract their attention and take advantage of the opportunity to ambush them.

So, they made their move.

One of them directly pounced towards Albert, intending to use their size advantage to pin Albert to the ground and give him a good beating.

But Albert simply dodged to the side and lifted his foot, tripping the attacker.

Another one who was ready to cast a spell with his wand was disarmed by Albert first. The wand flew high into the air and conveniently landed right in front of Albert, who reached out and caught it.

"Stop! What are you doing?" Professor Babbling saw the scene and went from momentary surprise to anger.

The two who had already drawn their wands, ready to use curses against Albert, froze in place.

"Professor... we just came..."

"Do you think I'm blind?" Professor Babbling stared at the four of them and coldly pronounced the final judgment, "Slytherin loses twenty points, each of you. I will inform Professor Slughorn, perhaps he should put you in detention for a few days so that you won't bully new students right after the exams."

The faces of the four instantly darkened.

"Good morning, Professor Babbling." Albert greeted the Ancient Runes professor with a smile.

"Did you not receive my note?" Professor Babbling looked Albert up and down, nodded, and said, "Come with me, I have something to discuss with you."

"Okay, Professor." Albert shrugged helplessly at the four Slytherin students, "I told you."

Before leaving with Professor Babbling, Albert turned back to the girl and said, "By the way, Katrina, let's put that matter on hold for now!"

"You jerk, give me back my wand." The Slytherin student who saw Albert walking away with his wand was almost infuriated.

"Oh dear, what did I just hear?" Fred looked at the gloomy-faced Slytherin students in a mocking tone, "Now, Slytherin is at the bottom of the standings."

"You bastards, just wait and see."

"Let's go back and tell everyone this good news." Lee Jordan laughed happily, "Now, Slytherin is completely done for."

"Yes, let's go and tell everyone!" After Fred finished speaking, he returned to the common room with his roommates, leaving behind a shocked Katrina and the already twisted expression of the Slytherin student.

In the afternoon, students passing through the entrance hall quickly noticed the change in points. Slytherin had suddenly lost eighty points and instantly became the bottom-dweller of the house standings. Coupled with the publicity from Fred and the others, the four Slytherin students instantly became famous for seeking trouble with a new student in front of a professor, resulting in a deduction of points.

Those four Slytherin students suddenly became the "heroes" in the mouths of countless people, and the Slytherin students naturally didn't give them a friendly look. Due to their "brainless behavior," Slytherin lost the chance to compete for the House Cup.

Of course, Snape's face was also very dark. After all, he was directly pointed out by a professor that several older students from his own house had shamelessly gone to bully a new student. Did they have no shame at all?
