It took everything in me not to kill that she-wolf after the stunt that she pulled. First of all, she kissed me without my contest and that is an offense but secondly, she knew Hemera was watching and she still did it; even a bigger offense.

I didn't care about about what I would do to her and just ran after Hemera. Hemera was upset but I didn't want her to misunderstand the situation and think that I was like this alphas who would cheat on their mates. I am not and will never be like that; not with Hemera.

Part of me wanted to let her cool off for a while but I knew that was a bad idea. After what Crane did to her, I don't want her to have any assumptions in her head.

I saw her run off to the room and shut the door loudly. I opened the door immediately I got to it. She saw on the balcony. Her beautiful figure covered the moon allowing the light to shine and illuminate her. She looked like the moon goddess herself.

"Hemera…" I called out.
