Bab 44: Fun and Games.

Karla knew how important this was not only to Hemera, but to her as well. She would finally know her real pack.

She never paid attention to Eliot and his brother when they told her that she was part of the Crescent moon pack; she didn't want to believe it because if she did, her worst nightmares would come true. She had a little bit of reassurance when Eliot gladly gave her out to Elpis without a second thought. If she was really part of their pack he would have given her out.

Karla waited in front of the sealed door for Kai and Lucia. She was one step closer to knowing her real pack and couldn't help but have that one feeling that she had been putting off for so long; hope. Hope that everything will fall into place and she will have the life that she meant for her. She was getting impatient and time was running out. The party will soon be over and they can't miss this chance. She heard footsteps coming down to the dungeon and thankfully it was Kai and Lucia.
