"Why do I feel like it is my business, Blanca?" He smirked.

"Sweetheart, you are on heat." He whispered, "It's practically normal for you to feel something and I am not complaining, but don't worry, I didn't read your mind. Your flushed cheeks say it all."

She snorted at the flat, emotionless tone. "Are you trying to reassure me? If so, you suck at it."

"My only duty is to escort you to make you safe and happy at the same time, and if you are this close and being happily comfortable in my lap, who am I to not give it to your heat?"
