Amelia didn't say anything, nor did she struggle.
Mrs. Brown got up to look at her, her eyes swollen from crying.
"Amelia, it's my fault..."
"Mum, it's in the past. We can have a child again."
Amelia tried to comfort Mrs. Brown, but she cried even harder and turned to run out.
Wesley Baker went to check on Mrs. Brown, and she cried even louder when he left the door.
Amelia looked at Mother Sanchez, who was sitting aside. Mother Sanchez stood up to say something to her, but she didn't say anything.
Amelia suddenly understood.
However, she didn't show much sadness, and just said: "Mom, I am hungry!"
Mother Sanchez was stunned for a moment, then asked, "What do you want to eat?"
"Some soup."
"I'll go make it; you wait."
Mother Sanchez hurried away, and Sebastian Lincoln followed her outside.
There were not many people left in the hospital room. Amelia asked Albert Brown, "What did the doctor say?"
