Bab 173: A Meeting with Vargus

Under the imposing gaze of Vargus, the younger elves couldn't help but shudder, their anxiety palpable in the charged air. They were far from their devastated homeland, standing before a figure whose reputation for strength and strategic prowess preceded him.

Valeria, sensing the tension, quickly stepped in to make the introductions. "Elves, please meet our faction leader, Vargus," she announced with a confident tone, gesturing towards the towering figure seated before them.

The young elves, still recovering from the initial shock of Vargus's formidable presence, managed a hesitant, "We greet you, faction leader."

Vargus scrutinized the group, his eyes briefly surveying each elf before turning back to Valeria. "So these are all the elves that will be joining our faction?" he asked, his voice deep and resonant.

Valeria nodded in affirmation.
