Bab 47: The Returned Ring

I woke up before dawn. I woke up almost at the same time as Ian. When I opened my eyes, I saw him standing in front of the mirror and putting on his clothes. Through the reflection of the mirror, Ian saw me staring at him in bed.

"You can sleep a little longer. After all, you are probably too tired from last night!" Ian said with a wicked smile.

"I just want to watch you get ready to leave!" I said softly. Every time he left, my heart felt extraordinarily empty and lonely. In this strange palace, there were no family or friends. I was so lonely!

"Can I ask my mother to accompany me in the palace?" I asked carefully.

Ian put on his clothes and walked to the bedside. He gently stroked my cheek. There was a hint of pity in his action.
