"I'm sorry. I hope I didn't hurt you," Ian said slightly apologetically. "I forgot you had an injury!"
"It didn't hurt that much!" I said as I tried to hold it in. Unfortunately, the injury on my shoulder had been torn apart by the intense activity, and the pain came in waves.
"I'm going to get the doctor to treat your injury!" Ian said as he was about to get up, but I stopped him. He turned to look at me, his purple eyes filled with guilt.
"I think we should talk first," I whispered. "That thing, it got into your body, right?"
"I don't know!" Ian lowered his head. "But I can remember what I just did. I don't feel like I was being controlled by anything."
"Maybe we can go to the mountain guardian, Nania. I think she'll help you!" I sat up and rested my head on Ian's shoulder. "Everything will work out!"
