Bab 102: Entering Annie’s World

"Annie!" There was a hint of urgency in the gentle voice. As the voice got closer and closer, I opened my eyes again and saw a haggard face and a pair of eyes that were as bright as the stars.

"William?" My head was dizzy, and my body was weak. Since I left the Red Moon Pack, Ian had locked me in his tent daily. The reason he did this was so I wouldn't stop him from staging another coup.

When I learned that Ian would gather all his pack's forces to stage another coup, I even kneeled in front of him and begged, but Ian didn't do anything. Every time, he would only say to me.

"No!"

"Ian, my family's lives are in Katheran's hands. "Can you please think about me?" I was crying as I tightly clutched the cold armor on his body. "They will die if you stage a coup."

I would never forget Katheran's warning to me. At this moment, I hated that woman, and this man in front of me made me even more heartbroken.
