Bab 139: Discovering A Thief

Black Wolf Baker pushed the bushes away. A short, ugly monster was struggling to escape Black Wolf Baker's grasp. His nose was short and sharp, and his body was covered in black and shiny fur, like a seal.

"Beavers!" I shouted after seeing the monster's appearance.

The beavers were good at stealing and often on the same team as the deep-sea pirate, Alov. As a pirate, Alov often attacked the sirens. Not only did his people plunder food and jewelry, but he also used the captured female sirens as reproduction tools. In short, they committed all kinds of evil and fought with the sirens to control the deep sea. The enmity had been going on for hundreds of years.

The extinction of the siren clan was accelerated because of the pirates' attacks in their previous lives.
