The whole Rossi Clan was in chaos after the tragedy that had happened. One of their own was executed in the most tragic and horrendous way a vampire of his high stature could be killed.

They barely managed to drag Exordium Eva out of sight as she watched her son be eaten alive by bugs and vermin. They were a rare species called Necrovamp, these bugs and vermin were trapped inside the Cage of Death with a powerful spell. It had been a long time since the Cage of Death had been used to execute the worst of the criminals in Valcrez.

Today, King Nikolai had sent a clear message to everyone that had effectively invoked fear to those who witnessed this. An official of high status from a powerful clan received a gruesome death for his crimes. King Nikolai didn't bat an eye as he watched Haman eaten alive without any of his remains left.
