His Majesty, King Sangga Mahesa, kept walking toward the three of them, his warm, dignified smile unwavering. At forty-four years old, he stopped beside Prince Arkana, making Kairav realize just how alike the father and son looked, almost as if they were twins.

Kairav had always seen King Sangga Mahesa as a forty-something version of Arkana. But now, seeing them together, he couldn't shake the impression that they looked more like brothers only two or three years apart.

Their facial features, wavy brown hair, brown eyes, and even their height were nearly identical. Only a small mole in the middle of Arkana's nose and Arkana's slightly longer hair reaching his shoulders set them apart.

Still taken aback, Kairav stared in surprise as the youthful king approached him. "The older face you've seen me with is just an effect of some flawless makeup," he said, making Kairav's brow crease in confusion.
