Bab 2: Curious case of Daphne Greengrass
A character that was just meant to be in the background has become one of the most popular characters. I for one like her personality. A blonde girl with a neutral face and a dangerous aura giving her the title of ice queen. The authors have given birth to an amazing character who has been used quite amazingly in a lot of books. A character with little to no contact with the main storyline gives them a lot of freedom.
A little too much in some hands. I have seen a lot of good stories get spoiled when they fail to utilize her well enough. I myself have tried my hand at writing and I understand that it is hard but some times it is a little too much.
Now I know that this is debatable but I have also read a few good harem stories involving Daphne. But those usually contained only two girls and a love triangle. What I don't like are the marriage contract ones where Harry gets multiple titles[ which is another chapter in the waiting] but also multiple contracts and ends up getting married to pretty much every female character in the story. I know that everyone has gone on a bit of wish-fulfilment rampage but this is a bit too much.
Now lets talk more about Daphne. She is usually a political savvy and pretty much always paired with Harry, whether in the dark, light or grey side. She cares a lot for her sister Astoria Greengrass who is seen to be having an incurable blood curse in many a fanfic. Her mother tends to be a caring one in some cases and a 'pure-blood' in others. Her father tends to be either a protective one, an abusive one or a businessman. The family tends to be anywhere from the grey side to the dark.
This is it for the first chapter, its a short one and the coming ones may also be short. The update might be a bit slow as my exams are coming up but I will try.
