Bab 54: Virgin Sacrifice

Damoen waited for his mate to come out of the dungeon. He spent his time helping the warriors put up defenses on the wall. He was amazed at the efficiency by which her maids and cook provided food to the warriors.

He found out that no children were allowed inside the castle except for the young girls and the head mistress. They were securely hidden in a huge room with heavy doors and locks. He noticed the room was clean, with uniformed beds lined up.

The head mistress approached him nervously, but he ignored her as he continued to scrutinize the place. It has a kitchen, a long table, and a bathhouse. It seemed that the young girls were being trained to become concubines. It looks like harem quarters.

Young girls were lined up, all of them staring at the ground. They're all clean and nice-looking. All the girls are young, and Damoen has no appetite for young girls. He turned to the head mistress.

"Why are they here?" he asked.
