Riolo raised both eyebrows and stuffed the money into her purse. “Everybody in town either has a truck or an SUV. If I saw it, it wouldn’t have seemed suspicious. Heck, I didn’t see anything weird in town. Just those houses.”

Damnit. “Well, this is where we part ways. I can’t take you with me, and trust me, you don’t wanna go. If you’re not planning to head back, go to a major city. He doesn’t seem to set up shop there.
