Chapter Thirty-Three

After quite literally being dragged out of my room by Ileen, I’m hiding in a corner. They have me dressed in a turquoise dress that has a split up to my left hip that is completely backless. My hair is pulled up in a braided twist with my bangs used to frame my face. Many people are staring at me, but it might have to do with the blade on my thigh. I’m not going to be unarmed for a while after the last few days. That, or the massive amounts of power radiating off of me might be drawing their attention. Still, it’s dwarfed when I’m near Silas, and I’m okay with that. I know this because of the number of people visibly skirting around him.
