Guangqing Province was located in the south, and the staple food of the people here was rice.

When they saw Zhao Chuchu bring out the steaming buns, white and fluffy, the people who came to work couldn't help but swallow hard as they felt the pangs of hunger.

"Village Chief, come and help me. I made these with quite some effort, so if you guys don't eat them, we won't be able to finish all this food." Zhao Chuchu appeared as if she was struggling to bring the plates out

Niu Tongsheng quickly put down what he was working on and stepped forward to help.

"Didn't you say you don't have enough money? Why did you buy so much then?" Niu Tongsheng chided her in a low voice. "Other people will think you are deliberately shorting them on labor!"
