Xie Heng choked for a moment but quickly shifted the conversation away from the topic. "I'm just thinking of Junjun."

"Sure you are!" Zhao Chuchu remarked silently inside.

"It's normal for you to doubt me," Xie Heng laughed. He seemed to disagree with Zhao Chuchu. "I can tell you if you really want to know."

"No, no, no, I won't listen," said Zhao Chuchu as she covered her ears. "John died because he knew too many things."

"Who's John?" asked Xie Heng, frowning slightly. "Is that someone important to you?"

"Hmm, he and Sarah are good friends," Zhao Chuchu said. These two names dominated all of her elementary school textbooks back then.

When Xie Heng heard that there was a Sarah, his brows flattened out again.
