Bab 433: Bloody Ritual

Mang Kanor entered the house holding a basin with the dead chicken slit on the throat and fresh blood dripping from its neck creating a dark pool of blood in the basin.

"Kanor, no one must enter the house while I'm doing the ritual," she said.

"Yes Auntie," Mang Kanor replied and obeyed the instruction of the old woman, he went out of the house and sat down on the stairs, guarding the door.

"John, please bring that basin with us inside that room," she pointed the room near the window. She walked ahead and entered the room followed by John.

John's hand was trembling a bit. The metallic smell of the fresh blood was nauseating to his nostrils.
