"What?" Xia Jingshu exclaimed as she looked up at her son, as though she didn't really understand what he said earlier. However, she quickly got the message.

"Mom…" Ye Hao crouched down and suddenly took his mother's hands in his before he said hoarsely, "Xiao Yu is Ye Yi's son."

She felt as though the house was about to collapse. Xia Jingshu's facial muscles tensed and she pursed her lips tightly before she suddenly fell backwards.

Her face immediately turned to the color of ash.

She opened her mouth and both her mouth and eyes opened extremely wide. She placed a hand over her and felt as though was about to stop beating.

"Mom, please relax," Ye Hao saw the myriad of emotions that crossed his mother's face and he gripped his mother's hands hard. He was afraid that his mother would become as agitated as he had been earlier. He was also scared that she would vomit blood.
