Bab 213: New Depths Of Love
Vanessa nervously stared at the clock as she slipped on her blue maternity pyjamas. The clock was moving too fast, faster than she wanted it to, and with every count of its seconds, her heart skipped harder and faster.
Her breaths were almost too short and her hands were clammy as she picked up the comb and slowly pushed it through her hair.
What was Alex doing now? Was he waiting for her? Why had he even invited her to his room? What did he want to do with her? Her mind raced with these questions and even more as she kept running the comb through her hair repeatedly.
She wasn't sure why he had invited her, but whatever reasons it was, she didn't want to go.
'But you know you want to?' A voice whispered in her head, and she cringed at the irrelevant truth she didn't want to admit, because truly she wanted to go. She had always wanted to see what his room looked like as she had never stepped into it before, and somewhere in her heart she also wanted that private time with him.
