Bab 99: Interfering

Vanessa gritted her teeth in frustration when Alex listed over a thousand reasons why the fourth apartment they had been shown wasn't suitable enough for living.

Vanessa closed her eyes as she desperately prayed to God to give her the patience she needed to deal with Alex. She was getting more frustrated by the second and was only a heartbeat away from pulling Alex by the hair and throwing profanities into his ear.

His list was endless and she wondered what had prompted her into allowing Alex tag along with her.

He didn't give you much of a choice, did he? A voice said in her head, and she agreed.

Alex had imposed himself on her, and had not even requested it. She only wished she had been stubborn enough not to wait for him by the bus stop as he had asked her to.
