Bab 205: Coincidence?

Different thoughts ran through Alex's mind as he sat in his car looking at the entrance of the clinic, contemplating whether or not to step out of his car and go into the clinic to confirm if it was true that Vanessa was a surrogate.

The more time he spent thinking about it, the more it all made sense to him. That had to be the reason she couldn't tell him about the father of her baby. That had to be the reason she had said she had no choice about giving the baby away. It also explained why she seemed so naive and innocent despite her pregnancy. 

What could have led her to do such a thing? He paused when he remembered the debts. Was that it? Had she done it to pay off her father's debts? Alex mused.

He sat up when he saw Vanessa stepping out of the clinic, thus confirming the information he had received. Was it possible she was here for something else?
