Bab 44: Coincidence?

Just as Alex had requested, his secretary keenly observed Sophia as he picked her from school. She was alone waiting at the same spot he had picked her up yesterday. She looked okay except for the faint stain he could spot on the white of her uniform.

His eyes followed her as she picked up her bag and trudged towards the car with a solemn look on her face — a look which was unarguably similar to the one always plastered on Vanessa's face since the day she joined the company. The resemblance wasn't just in looks but also in expressions.

Looking at her, he felt a younger version of Vanessa Scott in her teens was right before his eyes.

Could they be related? Or this was one of those cases of shared looks? He mused in his head. His gaze kept following her till she opened the door and stepped into the car.

"Good afternoon, sir." Sophia politely greeted.
