Bab 60: Bad Liar!

Vanessa tried not to scowl when she noticed the slight twitch of Alex' lips as he amusedly stared at her. 

He didn't find her anger amusing, did he? 

Vanessa could tell Alex could see the indignation on her face as he always had an habit of wanting to assess her emotions with those eyes of his, and right at this moment she had no interest of shuttering in her anger. He could see for all she cared. 

Seeing him smile right now, Vanessa felt her anger ride up the bar, so much she was tempted to call him an 'asshole' right to his face, as well as the entire thesaurus of the word.
