Zael was already caught up in the fight when another portal appeared once again above them. This time, the portal was more potent and dangerous, carrying an eerie sensation that rubbed everyone the wrong way. 

"Delight and cheer, for I have arrived! This nonsensical intervention of The Sages is a mockery of the balance between The Quartet. Therefore, I, Noble Annette, shall adjudicate the situation! If you are able to withstand my attacks, you may continue to join this welcome," a crimson-eyed older lady said. 

'Who the hell is that? Ah! That is right. I met her during one of my tours. She thought that I was just an ordinary student she could push around because I did not like to dress well during that time. That old crank tried to manipulate me to do her bidding, which I tactfully dismissed. Since then, The Nobles were not treating me well,' Zael thought as he glared into Annette with a thick and sticky look of disgust and contempt.
