Bab 273: Did You Just Propose Me?

On the beach at the Prince's Mansion.

Xavier and Faith walked the beach barefoot. Nobody spoke as they were lost in their own thoughts. 

Faith felt awkward being alone with Xavier after they had not seen each other for a few weeks.

Meanwhile Xavier. He was debating with his mind; should he propose this fierce lady to become his wife now? 

He wanted to say it several times, but the words stopped at the tip of his tongue. The thought of Faith refusing his proposal made his tongue go numb. 

He was terrified that their relationship would drift apart if Faith rejected him. He didn't want that to happen. Not now, when they started to be close and honest with each other. He enjoys being intimate with Faith like a best friend. 

But now, he was in trouble. His despicable heart keeps being greedy. He wanted more than a best friend.

Now and then, his eyes stole a glance at her. Trying to read the look on her face. Is she in a good mood or not?
